Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At Taly Yachts, we prioritize your satisfaction and safety. Below are the details of our cancellation policy.
Bad weather means a full refund or a free reschedule — your choice. Cancelling for any other reason is non-refundable.
When You Get Your Money Back
80% chance of rain or higher during your charter window: full refund or free reschedule — your choice.
Winds of 25 mph or higher during your charter window: full refund or free reschedule — your choice.
The captain calls it off for safety: same choice — full refund or free reschedule.
You cancel for any other reason: no refund. Crew, scheduling and vessel arrangements are finalized as soon as the yacht is reserved.
Booking Confirmation & Deposits
All bookings require a deposit to secure the yacht and confirm the reservation date.
Once a yacht has been reserved, payments are non-refundable if you cancel for a reason other than the weather conditions below, as administrative, coordination, and owner reservation costs are immediately incurred.
A booking may be transferred to another date approved in writing by TALY Yachts Miami.
Force Majeure & Operator Changes
TALY Yachts is not liable for schedule changes or cancellations caused by weather, mechanical issues, or owner-related circumstances. In such cases, TALY will work to provide the next best available solution.
Weather Policy — Full Refund or Free Reschedule
Weather is assessed using Google Weather App data for Miami Beach. If either condition below applies, you choose: a full refund, or a free reschedule to another available date.
Rain Conditions
A full refund or free reschedule applies if there is an 80% chance of rain or higher during the rental period.
This percentage is calculated as an average of the hourly rain probability for the total rental duration.
Wind Conditions
A full refund or free reschedule applies if winds reach 25 mph or higher during the rental period.
This is calculated as an average of the hourly wind speed for the duration of the trip.
Additional Notes
- Weather is determined using the hourly forecast data from the Google Weather App for Miami Beach.
- The captain has the final decision on whether it is safe to sail, as he is responsible for the vessel, the guests onboard and their safety. If he calls off the charter, you get the same choice of a full refund or a free reschedule.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method once conditions are verified.
Catering Services Cancellation Policy
All catering payments are non-refundable. Cancellations made up to 30 days prior may be eligible for credit toward a future booking.
Cancellations made less than 15 days before the catering date are not eligible for credit due to preparation and scheduling commitments.
For any changes or special requests, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Credit Card Chargeback Policy
By booking with Taly Yachts, you acknowledge and agree that:
Payments are non-refundable unless the weather conditions above apply, in which case you may choose a full refund or a free reschedule.
Any claims, disputes, or cancellations must be handled directly with TALY Yachts.
You agree not to dispute this charge with your bank or credit card company as a "chargeback" for services that have been agreed upon and scheduled.
